Iraqi police: Car bomb kills 17 in central Baghdad

A parked car bomb killed 17 civilians and wounded 32 Wednesday in central Baghdad, Iraqi police said.
Five cars were incinerated by the blast, which occurred in al-Hurriyah square in the Karradah neighborhood, police said.
The explosives had been planted in a vehicle, and were detonated around 10:15 a.m., they said.
