A Turkish man was arrested on Sunday while wearing a burka on suspicion of planning a suicide bomb attack, when he was actually wearing the full-body garb to disguise himself as he went to meet with his secret lover, AFP reported.
The bizarre event took place in the Black Sea province of Urdu in Northern Turkey, when locals noticed a "woman" with her body covered completely by a  niqab except for her feet which were dressed in men's shoes, Dogan News agency in Turkey said.
Police arrived on the scene and "unmasked" the suspicious character, who was revealed to be a 33-year-old man.
The man, who is married with two children, claimed he had resorted to going incognito in the burka in order to meet with a woman for the first time who he had met on a dating site, AFP said.

Tensions have been particularly high in Turkey after an estimated 102 people were killed when twin explosions hit a rally of pro-Kurdish and leftist activists outside Ankara's main train station in October, marking the deadliest attack in the nation's history. It was suspected that ISIS affiliates in Turkey perpetrated the attack.
