The Palestinian Authority is renewing activities in several Orient House departments - the PLO's east Jerusalem headquarters that was closed in 2001 - it was reported Monday.
Israel Radio said that although the departments were not actually operating from the premises, officials were conducting meetings in east Jerusalem with foreign officials and diplomats.
PA Prime Minister Salaam Fayad's adviser confirmed that the PA's preventive security service and PA Intelligence were conducting limited operations in east Jerusalem.
