Palestinian factions' meeting in Yemen ends without agreement; sides say they will talk again.
Palestinian factions meeting in Yemen have ended five days of reconciliation talks without agreeing on control of the Gaza Strip. Both sides say they will continue talking again in the Yemeni capital at an unspecified time.
Both the militant Hamas delegation and the moderate Fatah have group signed a statement in San'a saying that they "accept the Yemen initiative as a framework for resuming dialogue" to restore normalcy that existed in the coastal region before the Hamas' takeover of Gaza last June.
Although Sunday's development reflects failure of the Yemen-brokered meetings, it is still a small step forward in getting rival Palestinians to start talking to each other.
