The head of a main Fatah-linked security force was killed Wednesday in a mysterious explosion in Gaza city, security officials said.
Reportedly, Nabil Hodhod, commander of the elite Preventive Security, was killed and his deputy wounded in the explosion near Shifa Hospital in central Gaza City.
It was not immediately clear what caused the blast.
