Palestinians: Civilian shot dead in clash with settlers

A Palestinian man has been shot dead in a clash with Israeli settlers, said Palestinian witnesses Friday.
The Israeli military confirmed a shooting involving settlers and a Palestinian man, but had no further details. It said it was still sorting out conflicting reports on the deadly clash Friday north of the West Bank town of Ramallah.
According to Israeli media, settlers said the Palestinian man fired at them and they returned fire.
Palestinian villages said he apparently was hunting when the settlers killed him.
