Report: Hamas torn over Kassam rocket attacks

Ahmed al-Jabri, the commander of Hamas's armed wing Izzadin Kassam, gave orders Tuesday night for Hamas operatives to stop firing Kassam rockets at Israel following recent damage to Hamas training camps from IAF air strikes, Israel Radio reported. The group's commander in northern Gaza, however, refused to comply with the order. Ahmed Randur ordered his men to keep firing. Hamas's spokesman in Gaza, Fawzi Barhoum, denied that there was any disagreement on the issue, and said that both the armed and political wings of Hamas were determined to continue rocket attacks.
