The glittering hotel where stars spent the Cannes Film Festival

A little glam from overseas: the prestigious international film festival in the French city of Cannes closed this weekend.
This year, a particularly large delegation from Israel attended, due to the participation of four Israeli films in the festival.
As usual, the hotels in Cannes were filled with a host of international celebrities from the world of cinema.
The hotel that became the hotspot of the stars was the JW Marriott, owned by Jewish businessman Elliott Aintabi, which underwent a complete renovation last year at a cost of tens of millions of euros, and reopened just before the festival with an innovative and spectacular design. The hotel also opened in Scalini, its international luxury restaurant.
Among those who received a warm welcome at the refurbished hotel, encountering dozens of fans standing at the hotel gates daily in anticipation of some stardust were former French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife, Carla Bruni, Matt Damon, Vanessa Paradis, Camille Cottin, Andie MacDowell, and more.
