16-year-old Bnei Brak youth threatens Lapid’s life

Youth, resident of Bnei Brak, wrote that Lapid would "end up like Rabin", deleted post soon after.

Police arrested a 16-year-old youth from Bnei Brak on Wednesday after he admitted to posting a death threat on politician Yair Lapid’s Facebook wall.
The youth turned himself in to a Tel Aviv police station more than 12 hours after he posted the message. Police had launched an investigation to determine who wrote the message before the youth came to them.

“You are a bastard, a son of a bastard, a problem that cannot be fixed,” the youth wrote.
“If you were a standard bastard, you could change, but with a father as dirty and rotten as yours whose name I hope gets erased from memory, you really can’t be fixed.”
The youth, who identified himself only with the Hebrew letter “Aleph,” wrote that he wanted to kill Lapid, calling him “an anti-Semitic hater of the Jewish people.”
“The verdict against you is death and anyone who carries it out will be blessed,” Aleph wrote. “If you challenge Binyamin Netanyahu, what will happen will be very similar to what happened to Yitzhak Rabin.”
Aleph later added to the Facebook wall that, despite what he wrote, he had no intention of inciting Lapid’s murder or harm to him.
When questioned by police, Aleph said what he wrote was “just a prank.” A Tel Aviv fraud unit police spokesman said Lapid had filed a complaint at a Tel Aviv-area police station.
Lapid responded mockingly to the threat on his Facebook wall, writing that his wife Lihi had told him that if he was murdered, she wanted to go first.
When an admirer of Lapid wrote on the wall, “You’re the next prime minister,” Lapid wrote back, “Emil, that’s not particularly reasonable but thanks.”
