The IDF attacked Hezbollah's terror infrastructure sites in several areas in Lebanon, the military said on Sunday.

The military did not specify the exact location of the attack, but the IDF explained that it was in response to Hezbollah's multiple ceasefire violations.

Also on Sunday, the IDF carried out airstrikes on a weapons production site and other terror infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, the military said in a statement that afternoon.

The strikes were carried out in the Bir al-Sansal region and the Bekaa Valley, according to the statement. The military killed Jawad Basma, a Hezbollah terrorist who operated at the weapons manufacturing site.

The IDF on Sunday also said it killed terrorist Muhammad al-Husseini, Hezbollah’s Head of Artillery in the Arzoun village in southern Lebanon in the Al-Bazouriyah region of south Lebanon.

"Husseini advanced numerous terror attacks against the State of Israel and IDF troops during the war, and recently took part in attempts to restore Hezbollah’s artillery abilities in southern Lebanon," the military said.

"The activity of Hezbollah terrorists at these sites constitutes a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon," the IDF statement concluded.

Hamas-run Gaza health authority claims Israel kills Palestinians

Israeli fire also killed two Palestinians in the Tuffah neighborhood in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday, and an Israeli drone wounded four others in a separate incident in Gaza City, local Hamas-affiliated health authorities claimed.

Medical workers said an Israeli drone exploded on the rooftop of a multi-floor building in Gaza City, wounding four civilians in the street nearby.

The IDF did not comment on either incident.

This is a developing story.
