2 dead, 1 injured after shooting in Shuafat refugee camp

Police suspect shooting occurred during brawl between feuding gangs in the camp near J'lem; man dies from gunfire in Tira.

Two men in their 50s were killed Friday, and another person was lightly injured, by gunfire in the Shuafat refugee camp in the Jerusalem area.
Police suspected that the shooting occurred during a brawl which broke out between feuding gangs in the camp.

A team of Magen David Adom paramedics arrived at the scene and took the wounded man to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.
Also on Friday, a 30-year-old man was killed after being shot in the Arab city of Tira.
A Magen David Adom crew arrived at the scene where they treated him before evacuating him to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.
The background to the incident was not yet clear.
