President Shimon Peres called Maccabi Tel Aviv head coach David Blatt on the phone to congratulate the team following their exciting Euroleague title win Sunday night."All of Israel is yellow - you're the best!" he told Blatt. Peres joked that he almost suffered a heart attack from the suspense.Blatt answered, "This trophy is your going away present from Maccabi Tel Aviv."Maccabi Tel Aviv overcame tournament favorite Real Madrid to win 98-86 in overtime to claim their sixth Euroleague title.
