A 61-year-old woman passed away early Saturday morning in a fire that broke out in her Ramat Gan apartment on Mishmar Hayarden Street.The firefighting and Magen David Adom (MDA) teams that were called to the scene, found the woman dead when they arrived.

Teams of firemen and MDA paramedics were sent to the building, and had to break into the apartment. The firefighters put out the fire, which had already destroyed the entire apartment. After searching the apartment they found the woman's body, and the paramedics declared her dead.
