The Israeli Cricket Association has named its Division One league trophy after fallen soldier Dudi Silbowitz.

Silbowitz, an oleh from South Africa, volunteered for army service in 1971. He represented Israel at the 1973 Maccabiah Games in cricket, and soon after served in the Yom Kippur war. During the war, Silbowitz's tank was hit, and all crew members were killed. Silbowitz was buried in Kibbutz Jezreel, at age 24.
