Order preventing family unifications to become permanent
The ministry of interior intends to request a six month extension of the 7-year-old temporary order preventing Palestinians married to Israeli Arabs from becoming Israeli citizens and permanently moving to Israel, Army Radio reported Thursday.

Every year, the state extends the measure for security reasons. It is due to expire in two months. This time, however, the ministry intends to use the six month extension to implement parliamentary proceedings to make the order into a permanent law.
