UNFIL calls for 'maximum restraint' from IDF, LAF

UNIFIL leaders called on the IDF and the LAF to exercise "maximum restraint" after gunfire erupted between Israel and Lebanon at the northern border Tuesday, wounding two Lebanese soldiers.

A spokesman for the international peacekeeping force said "the first priority is to calm the region." The commander of the UNIFIL force was in touch with both the IDF and the LAF over the incident.
