Heavy gunfire rings out in Mali capital

BAMAKO - Heavy gunfire rang out in the center of Mali's capital Bamako on Wednesday, a Reuters correspondent said.

The correspondent heard up to 10 minutes of automatic gunfire coming from close to the state radio building. Earlier, Mali deployed armored vehicles to seal off its presidential palace after gunshots were heard at a military barracks outside Bamako
