Police arrested a 28-year-old Africanmigrant on Sunday night after he attacked MK Elazar Stern (TheMovement) during the lawmaker's visit to the central bus station areain south Tel Aviv.
Stern was not hurt during the attack,though he was struck in the back of the head and his kippa wasknocked on the ground.
The man was arrested immediately byofficers who were patrolling Stern's tour, which he took part in onthe invite of residents of south Tel Aviv.
Almost two weeks ago, new InteriorMinister Gideon Sa'ar (Likud) went on a similar tour of the sameneighborhood. No violent incidents were reported, though shoutingmatches did break out between Israeli and foreign residents of southTel Aviv.
