Iran: we'll continue to pursue our 'strategic aim'

Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, said on Sunday that Iran was determined to push ahead with its nuclear program despite international objections. The statement came five days before the expiration of the UN-set deadline for Iran to suspend uranium enrichment and a day after Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad inaugurated a heavy water production facility at Arak. "Production of nuclear fuel is our strategic aim," state radio quoted Larijani as saying. "Any measure to deprive Iran from its right, will not change our mind about our aim."
