UN's Ban: 'Too many Palestinian and Israeli mothers are burying their children'
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon visited Israel on Tuesday, condemning rocket attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip.

Speaking alongside Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at a joint press conference  in Tel Aviv, Ban said that "too many Palestinian and Israeli mothers were burying their children."

He said that he had met with the leadership of Qatar, Kuwait and Egypt in recent days as part of efforts to reach a cease-fire to end the fighting.
