The two sides are on the verge of finalizing an agreement, though there has yet to be a deal regarding the salary that Grant will earn as per the terms of the contract.
Avram Grant, the Israeli soccer coach whose resume includes stints as head man of the national team as well as English Premier League clubs Portsmouth, Chelsea, and West Ham, is in advanced stages of negotiations to take over the Ghana national club, according to the BBC.

The two sides are on the verge of finalizing an agreement, though there has yet to be a deal regarding the salary that Grant will earn as per the terms of the contract.

Ghana officials told AFP they are hopeful Grant will be installed as coach in time for the club’s last qualifier matches in the Africa Cup of Nations tournament against Uganda and Togo next week.

Grant most recently served as technical director of Thai club Tero Sasana following a brief stay as manager of Partizan Belgrade.
