President Rivlin: I expect French condemnation of Orange CEO to be heard in Israel, Cairo
President Reuven Rivlin remarked on Thursday on recent developments concerning political and military attacks on Israel, in regard to recent boycott maneuvers against Israel and Wednesday night's Gaza rocket fire on the South.

Rivlin stressed that he expected French leadership to publicly condemn perceived anti-Israel comments made Wednesday in Cairo by Stephane Richard, the CEO of French telecoms giant Orange.

"I expect their voices to be heard in Israel and in Cairo," the president said.

“Just yesterday Israel faced attacks from anti-Israel and anti-Semitic bodies, who have chosen to delegitimize the State of Israel, and to launch rockets at us from the Gaza Strip," he said, stressing that, "We must face these challenges together, Right and Left."
