Peres meets with new UN head on captive IDF troops Staff
Vice Premier Shimon Peres met on Friday evening with newly-appointed UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon at the UN headquarters in New York and asked for a "sign of life" from the Israeli reservists held captive by Hizbullah. Army Radio reported that Ki-Moon promised to do his best to obtain information on the soldiers' condition.
