Kidnapped troops' friends hold protest

Demonstrators in front of PM's Office demand gov't work to free loved ones.
As government ministers began the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday morning, over a dozen friends of kidnapped IDF soldiers Ehud Golwasser, Eldad Regev and Gilad Shalit demonstrated in front of the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem. The protesters, calling for the government to work towards freeing their loved ones, carried signs that read "Olmert, a fence for wisdom is silence," and "Those who leak [information] don't get to speak [against it]." Olmert met over the weekend with the Goldwasser and Regev families after it was released for publication last week that the prime minister had received a report shortly after the war began that the two soldiers were seriously wounded. "In that report, it was written outright - one wounded seriously and one wounded very seriously," Goldwasser's mother Miki was quoted as saying. "It didn't say 'critically wounded' - that's just a media spin. We don't understand why that was written, but whoever wrote it was just looking for headlines."
