President-elect Trump arrives for White House meeting with Obama
President-elect Donald Trump arrived at the White House on Thursday to meet with President Barack Obama, a White House official said, in the first public step of a transition of power after a bitterly fought election campaign.

Trump's motorcade took a South Lawn entrance into the White House, out of view of television cameras. Obama and Trump are to hold a brief photo opportunity in the Oval Office later on Thursday morning. The full transition of power will officially take place on Jan. 20.
