Warning against asthma drugs

The Health Ministry said Sunday it was investigating Saturday's announcement by the US Food and Drug Administration that instructed manufacturers of three widely used asthma medications taken daily to relax bronchial muscles and prevent asthma attacks - to add warnings to their labels. The medications targeted are GlaxoSmithKline's long-acting bronchodilator medicines Advair and Serevent and Novartis's Foradil.
