Palestinian taxi driver killed in car accident

A Palestinian taxi driver killed in a car accident on Route 60, between Tapuah Junction and the Hawara checkpoint, on Friday morning. Army Radio reported that three of the passengers were injured, one seriously and two lightly. All of the casualties were evacuated to a Nablus hospital for treatment. In another accident Friday morning, a police officer and a driver were lightly injured when a 22-year-old driver overtook several cars near Modi'in and hit a car that had stopped at a police checkpoint. The driver is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol but has refused to take an alcohol test.
