Despite that the two passports were reported stolen by two Israelis the Sajid Samiel Nasrani, 27, and Mashura Sbazli, 30 were able to leave the airport.
Argentinian police discovered two Iranians with forged Israeli passports, Ynet reported on Sunday. The police noticed that the fingerprints and pictures did not match the holders of the passports. Tests showed that the documents were forged and that there were even Hebrew spelling mistakes in the passports.

Despite the fact that the two passports were reported stolen by two Israelis, Sajid Samiel Nasrani, 27, and Mashura Sbazli, 30, were able to leave the airport, according to the report. Two days after the Iranians entered Argentina, the state court ordered the case to be transferred to the counter-terrorism unit.

The passports were reported stolen by Israelis David and Brigitte Assouline.

The man and woman from Iran had traveled together from Spain under the names Netanel Toledano and Rivka Toledano.

The purpose of the two Iranians in Argentina has not yet been determined.
