Abbas urges restraint after 'one time violation' Staff
Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday called on Israel to show restraint following the Independence Day rocket and Mortar attacks in order to avoid a "deterioration" in the region. Abbas called the attacks a "one time violation of the truce." The PA chairman was speaking in Rome after meeting with Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi.
