Approximately 60 percent of Israeli factories offer paid vacations to employees during the summer months, while 33% pay holidays during the year as well, a new poll reveals. The survey, conducted by the Manufacturers Association of Israel, also found that 14% of Israeli manufacturers take their employees on collective vacations. Many manufacturers provide extra services to employees during the summer, including childcare programs, trips for employees and their families or corporate activity days, offered by a total of 62% of the country's manufacturers. Almost all manufacturers maintain the same working hours during the summer, the study found, contributing to 89% reporting increases in energy consumption during the summer.
