The Modi'in Mall, constructed at a price of $110 million, is set to open at the beginning of 2008, the Azrieli Group said Monday.
The mall, located in the middle of the city next to the train station, will cover some 22,000 square meters, including a 1,500 square meter food court, and will have some 1,700 parking spots. According to an Azrieli spokesperson, all of the 130 stores, including Zara, Golf & Co., Office Depot, Cafe Aroma and Castro, have been rented out.
The mall will provide locals with more than 1,000 jobs, said Shmuel Bein, director-general of the facility. This is the eighth mall constructed by the Azrieli Group.
