First Congress of Israeli Medical Innovations in the field of Cardiology opens in December

Dvora Szerer has been appointed to lead the media and public relations of the ICI conference - the first and biggest worldwide professional congress of Israeli medical innovations in the field of cardiology. The conference has been initiated by Prof Chaim Lotan and Prof Rafi Beyar, who are among the leaders of Israeli cardiology.

The event will take place 4-6 December 2022 at David Intercontinental Hotel in Tel-Aviv, hosting above 3 thousands participants from more than 40 countries worldwide. Participants include CEOs of leading companies such as Medtronic, Edwards, Boston Scientific and Philips among many others.

Also will take part high-level officials in the medical industry, physicians, nurses and health professionals, engineers, representatives of pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies as well as many entrepreneurs and venture capital funds in the medical field, searching for the next unicorn.

The conference will hold lectures in more than 50 sessions and will showcase a rich exhibition of innovative technologies from Israel and around the world. The themes will include, among other things, the digital health revolution, home medical surveillance and cybersecurity in the realm of health.

Also, a startups competition will take place during the three-day conference and the winner will be awarded with De Han prize of 200,000 dollars. Prof Biar: " We see a variety of innovative ideas in medicine, particularly in cardiology, and its interesting to note that quite a lot of them originate in Israel."  Prof Lotan: "Health, these days, is characterized by digital innovativeness. However, the medical device field keeps on developing as well"
