Luis Scott began as an assistant in a law firm before he pursued a degree in law. Starting from the bottom and working his way up, gave Scott perspective into what he wanted to do as a lawyer. He had spent too long working under people, and he knew that working for someone was not apart of his plan - he wanted to create something of his own.

Luis Scott met Seth Bader (founder of what is now known as Bader and Scott Injury Lawyers) at a networking conference in 2016. They instantly began discussing business and quickly learned that their goals and values aligned. A short while after, In 2018, Bader was interested in working with Scott and offered him a permanent position at his firm. With a promise of partnership in the near future, Scott agreed and joined the company. After Scott joined the firm, their clients nearly doubled over the next year. As the company was growing, they had to bring on more staff. Between the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020, Bader and Scott decided to get ahead of the growth and hire an additional 15% of employees than they needed.

They expected their company to follow this trajectory and wanted to get ahead of the numbers. However, right after bringing on more staff - the pandemic hit and hurt the company. Their incoming client percentage decreased by 40%. Bader and Scott decided it would be best for the firm and the work culture they wanted to set in place, to refrain from terminating any of their staff. They wanted to create a safe space for their employees that they had just recently brought on board. Firing any of the staff was not acceptable. They found other places for their budget cuts. They decreased their marketing temporarily, until the firm resumed a regular flow of clients.

The pandemic was difficult for so many companies and entrepreneurs, Bader and Scott Injury Lawyers was no exception to this. However, with the right business plan, they were able to power through the rough patch and came back on top. After reducing their marketing budget by 25% and waiting patiently - Bader and Scott were able to increase their revenue by the end of 2020. Their clients shot back up by 25% - 30%.

A year after bringing Scott on board, Bader made him partner. Their friendship quickly turned into a partnership and they began working on creating what is now recognised at one of Atlantas quickest growing firms. They have worked to bring together a team full of talent that contributes to an excelling work culture. Bader and Scott make sure to put their team and their clients before anything else. The dynamic they have created in the office has led them to helping over 10,000 clients successfully close settlements. Bader and Scott Injury Lawyers is continuing to expand and venturing out to new outlets to help their firm. They are now sharing their business strategies via social media and helping people gain more insight on how to grow and excel in their professional and personal lives.
