A large crowd welcomed Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto, who arrived at the beginning of the week for a stay of several days, to lead an inspirational campaign among Shuva Israel communities and his many students in Miami.
Last night the central address was held at the Shuva Israel Beth Midrash in Aventura, Miami, where Rabbi Pinto spoke to an audience of over a thousand.
"We have to share the burden," said Rabbi Pinto, referring to the war that was forced upon Israel in the past months and the general complex security situation. He explained that every Jew, regardless of who he is, is obligated to share in the burden and lend his support, help and assistance to the Jews in the Land of Israel.
In recent weeks, Rabbi Pinto raised millions of dollars for the residents of the south and for IDF soldiers. He is in personal contact with many of the families of the abductees, and is accompanying them during these difficult days.
Since the beginning of the war, Rabbi Pinto has been holding a marathon of Torah talks that began at the Shuva Israel World Center in Manhattan and is continuing these days in other US states.
Rabbi Pinto is also planning to visit Europe and Israel, with the aim of encouraging his thousands of followers and admirers there and gaining their support for Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers.
