Wissmann Holdings celebrated its 90th anniversary at the Tower of David Museum in Jerusalem

The Wissmann Holdings group from Israel, which has control over companies in the furniture field in about 14 different countries and in the Far East, celebrated its 90th anniversary last week.

The celebrations held all over Israel with the participation of guests and business partners from Europe and the Far East, Included the launch of a new branch of the design chain Shomrat Hazorea and even activity in the industrial center in the Bar-Lev Industrial Park and the Tower of David Museum in Jerusalem, a holy place for three religions.  , to Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

The Mayor of Jerusalem, Mr. Moshe Lion, congratulated the Wissmann Group and the President of the State of Israel, Mr. Yitzhak Herzog, sent an exciting congratulatory video.

Also participating in the event were Mr. Casey Loo the editor of the professional and prestigious magazine Furniture &Furnishings,  Dr. Ron Tomer, president of the Israel Manufacturers Association. The international mentalist Uri Geller facilitated the event. 

A special award was given to the Wissmann brothers Arie and Nachum for managing the furniture powerhouse and for their important contribution to the furniture industry in Israel and abroad by the President of the Association of Manufacturers Dr. Ron Tomer.

Mayor Moshe Leon blessed the event and said: "The wissmann family, whose history is foreign to the history of the beloved city, contributes to the economy and industry in Israel as a whole and in Jerusalem in particular. That the company helps and contributes to the community and the disabled sheds additional light on the pleasant nature, giving and generosity of the dearth people who lead with a high hand. What they turned into a flourishing and prosperous business with their own hands."

Wissmann Group CEO Arie Wissmann said: “It is not obvious in the small state of Israel to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of a company. It is a great privilege that we have a third generation company with close to 200 staff members. The factory that grew and grew operates in 14 countries and works with 65 furniture factories all over the world."

The brothers Nahum and Arie Wissmann surprised the Deputy CEO of the company, Adv. Koby Ben Simon, who has accompanied them for 16 years, and gave him a special award for his activities for the company for 16 years.

The artistic part of the event, included Shalva band from Israel and singer Orly Solomon from France who mesmerized the audience and also the singer Levana Solomon, her niece who entertained all those present.
