Real Madrid thrashed Maccabi Tel Aviv 98:79 in Spain on Thursday night, significantly denting the Israeli side's hopes of finishing among the top two teams in Euroleague Group F.
Carlos Arroyo and Lior Eliyahu top scored for Maccabi with 21 and 20 points respectively, but they couldn't prevent the heavy defeat, which all but ended Tel Aviv's chances of advancing to the quarterfinals.
Louis Bullock top scored for a rampant Real Madrid with 24 points.
On January 15, Maccabi was thrashed 92-69 at Unicaja Malaga and just last week the team was humbled 85-65 at Barcelona.
