Tel Aviv was ahead most of the game but several mistakes down the stretch resulted in a 16-3 run by the Spanish side and a 98-92 loss. Maccabi's starting guards once again proved that a changes in their positions are required if the Israeli team wishes to advance and reach the top-16, not to mention the round of eight. Yotam Halperin scored only 2 points (0-6 from the field) while Will Bynum finished with 9 points. Derrick Sharp, as usual, picked up the slack, scoring 16 off the bench. Simas Jasaitas drilled five three-pointers on his way to a game-high 24 for Maccabi. Nikola Vujcic finished with 20 points, while Lior Eliyahu ended up on 12.
