Games We Play: Excitement builds for softball season

This year there will be two Maccabiah fast-pitch tournaments for men, an Open, a Masters ( 35+) tournament and a tournament for women.

The Israel Softball Assocation's (ISA) is currently preparing for a busy Spring Season which begins in March, as well as training several National Teams. This year there will be two Maccabiah fast-pitch tournaments for men, an Open, a Masters( 35+) tournament and a tournament for women. Tryouts for the Masters Maccabiah team will take place on Monday at the Baptist Village at 7 p.m. while the Open tryouts will be held on February 19 at the same venue. In addition, the ISA will field a Junior Men's team in the European Championships in the Czech Republic at the end of June. Any player interested in trying out for a National Team or joining a league team should contact League Secretary Goose Gillett at 0506 451 864.
