Ben and Yair Friedrich won the Volvo Open at the Caesarea Golf Club on Friday. The 15- and 11-year-old brothers, who are from Hadera, are students at the Caesarea Golf Academy. They claimed first place with 43 points, one more than second-place Udi Shatmer and Mordechai Schechter. The Friedrich brothers also won the Caesarea Golf Club's Memorial Golf Tournament at the end of last month. The 144 golfers who participated in the tournament also attempted to score a hole-in-one into the 169-meter hole No. 10. A red 2007 Volvo C70 convertible was promised to anyone succeeding. No one took home the NIS 438,000 car, which remained the property of the tournament's sponsor. The golfers were joined by Rita and Rami Kleinstein, and Maccabi Haifa players Ravid Gazal, Shlomi Arbeitman and Alon Harazi.
