Veteran golfer Eddie Hoffman, playing on his 73rd birthday, had one of the best rounds of his career. Playing with an 11 handicap, Eddie had a gross 75 score which left him on net 64 and in first place in the "A" Division.
Hoffman played the front nine in 4-over par-39 with five pars and four bogeys. On the back nine, he had a one-over 36 with eight pars and a bogey. Simcha Cohen finished second with a net 65.
In the "B" Division, Dudu Tor won with a net 70, followed by Yerucham Shafat on net 71.
The "C" Division had the best score of the day with Avner Chen scoring a net 62, closely followed by Moshe Alon on net 63.
Once again the Wine Center at Ga'ash provided the nearest-to-the-pin prizes. On the par-3, 124- meter hole No. 4, Aliza Ofir got within two meters of the pin. On the par-3, 160m hole No.9 Rafi Shelef was 5.4 meters from the hole. Hoffman won the prize for the par-3, 164m hole No. 14. He was 5.2 meters from the pin.
On Thursday, "Ad 120" is sponsoring a special tournament at Ga'ash Golf Club.
