The popular better-ball Stableford 75 percent handicap format tournament was held at the Ga'ash Golf Club on Monday.
The field of 64 golfers braved strong, windy and chilly playing conditions.
The combination of the experienced veteran Judy Reefe together with the rookie golfer Oren Weissman, guided by his ambition and determination, were too good for the rest of the field.
Judy and Oren took first place with 40 Stableford points. The pairs of Dudu Califa & Jeff Zakon and Leslie Ben Amir & Richard Fogelson both had 39 Stableford points, but on the count out Dudu and Jeff took second place and Leslie & Richard coming third.
The Wine Center at Gaash's "Nearest to the Pin" prize on hole 4, par 3, was Reuven Senderman 2.55 m from the pin.
The players at Ga'ash are now looking forward to the annual Purim competition which in previous years has been a highlight with all arriving in amazingly appropriate fancy dress costumes.
