The Ga’ash Golf Club hosted its annual ladies day tournament on Tuesday.The format of the tournament was a Texas scramble played in teams of three, with over 40 ladies enjoying perfect weather and playing conditions.First place went to the trio of Janine Portenier, Marion Fegel and Evi Wyler. In second place were Dorit Levi, Elke Weinkamp and Lorna Aronson.
Prizes for nearest to the pin went to Ofra Dagan and Ruth Oren, while Wyler won the longest drive.Coming up for the Ga’ash golfers is a Ryder Cup-style match against the Caesarea Golf Club, to be held at the end of this week.
