Hapoel Tel Aviv defeated Slovenian club Domzale 3-0 in the second leg of their UEFA Cup second qualifying round tie in Ljubljana Thursday night to advance on an aggregate 4-2 score.
Hapoel Tel Aviv overcame a 2-1 deficit from the first leg, which was played in Tilburg, Netherlands, due to a UEFA ban on European matches in Israel.
Ivan Jolic gave Hapoel a crucial away goal in the 70th minute, and while the visitors held Domzale scoreless the rest of the match, Gil Vermouth and Ibazito Ogabuna both scored in added time.
Betar Jerusalem and Bnei Yehuda were also playing in the UEFA Cup second qualifying round on Thursday night.
