Maccabi Tel Aviv strolled to its seventh straight BSL win on Monday night, defeating Hapoel Galil Elyon 92-80 at Nokia Arena. Tel Aviv's win was never under any doubt after the hosts began the game with a 15-0 run and continued to lead for the entire 40 minutes. Jamie Arnold led Maccabi with 29 points with Will Bynum scoring 17 points and Simas Jasaitis getting 14 points. The hosts stormed into the lead at the start of the game with Arnold's three pointer giving the side a 15-0 lead. Galil edged its way back into the game and Omri Caspi's buzzer beater cut the margin to seven points (25-18) at the end of the first quarter. A Jasaitis three gave Tel Aviv a 44-34 lead and the hosts began to break away. A stunning Will Bynum dunk with just under a minute to go gave Tel Aviv a 14 points lead with the half ending in a 53-42 Maccabi advantage. Another dunk by Bynum midway through the third quarter put the hosts up by 20 (70-50) and the game was effectively over. The BSL goes on a long winter break following Monday's game, returning on January 21.
