Mishkon Dereya took a huge step towards qualification to the next phase of the Moshiko Soccer League with their performance of the season seeing off fellow strugglers Waka Waka 5-0 over the weekend.With the final spot in the last 16 up for grabs the tie quickly turned into an exploding encounter.Yakov Tuch tested the Mishcon keeper with a curling shot but it was Karly Wasyng who gave Mishcon the lead with a fantastic long range effort.Wasyng doubled the advantage just before the break after bursting through the Waka rearguard and finishing with a fierce drive.In the second half, as Waka pushed forward in search for a way back, Josh Cantor made it 3-0 firing home from distance.Ariel Fine calmly slotted home while Wasyng completed his hat-trick, almost certainly giving Mishkon a place in the prestigious last 16.Elsewhere, Super Hamoshava was a comfortable 4-0 winner over Netiv’s Bonkers.The young Jerusalemites played with passion and flair and were rewarded with a double from Ilan Weiman and a goal apiece from Refael Nissimyan and Eldad Irshai.Menachem Herman’s Band overcame Oraysa FC 5-2 with Jonny Abrahams and Avi Kraus each claiming a brace, and David Kosky completed the scoring.Joseph Lubinski and Yair Rudick scored consolations for the determined Americans.Eretz Hazvi took their goal tally to 36 with a 14- 1 drubbing of Israel Government fellows.
