Haim Revivo has denied a report claiming he is
leaving Israel for Los Angeles because of a dispute with the Ashdod criminal world.
The former Israeli international, who has a ownership stake at Ashdod SC, announced last week that he is leaving the country to develop his businesses and his wife's jewelry company in the US, but Yedioth Ahronoth claimed on Sunday that he has done so due to threats from the underworld.
"Any attempt to attribute my leaving to a motive which is neither financial nor family related is completely false," Revivo said.
"I have no intention of disconnecting from my businesses in Israel, my friends, my family and Ashdod SC and I'll continue to fly back and forth from Israel to Los Angeles."
