The annual Hebrew Book Week will be held under the banner of Tel Aviv's 100th anniversary this year, with major events being hosted in Rabin Square. In addition, the book fair will take place in eight other cities and some 40 towns across Israel, from June 10-20. Hundreds of stands will be set up, offering thousands of books from dozens of Israeli publishers at discounted prices. In addition, there will be plays, reading tents, story hours and other activities held - particularly in the Tel Aviv locale - from 6 p.m. The Jerusalem event is returning to Liberty Bell Park, with events spread across the city. Family-friendly activities and book fairs will also take place in Beersheba (Performing Arts Center), Rishon Lezion (pedestrian mall), Haifa (Grand Kenyon), Netanya (Heichal Hatarbut), Kfar Saba (the city square), Holon (Mediatheque plaza) and Modi'in (Fairs Plaza at the Azrieli mall).
