He claimed his sixth career medal in the floor exercise at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Bern, Switzerland in May, taking a bronze. He finished the floor final in Beijing 2008 in eighth place before coming sixth in London 2012 and is eyeing a further improvement in Rio.
