Ladies rule the local links at annual tourney

Liora Sponder took home the best-dressed prize, while Liron Neor and Ronit Kedar split the award for best combination of color and style.

Late last week, more than 50 women golfers from the Caesarea and Ga’ash golf clubs took part in the traditional Women’s Day Tournament at Caesarea Golf Club. The tournament was held in honor of International Women’s Day, which is observed around the world on March 8.
In the morning, each participant received a Swarovski necklace, courtesy of Skornik Eitan Agencies LTD. Euro-Asia LTD presented Berring watches to Ofra Stop and Adva Ronen, who were crowned 2015 champions with a score of 67.
The rest of the competition saw Serena Toblaim and Veronique Brightman finish in second place, shooting a 70, and Ruth Oren and Limor Sidi totaling 72 for third-place honors The nearest-to-the-hole competitions was won by Dana Lerner, who also recorded the longest drive.
