Wedding video of IDF Sgt. Tuvia Yanai Weissman
Tuvia Yanai Weissman, 21, did everything early.
He married and became the father of a baby girl before he was stabbed to death in the aisles of a Rami Levy supermarket by two 14-year-old Palestinian terrorists. The two teenagers also stabbed a 35-year old resident, Tel Zion, who is in moderate and stable condition at Hadassah University Medical Center at Mount Scopus.
A shopper with a gun managed to shoot and wound the two Palestinian teenager, Ayham Sabah and Omar Rimawi, both of whom are from the Ramallah suburb of Beitunya, which is close to the supermarket. They have been hospitalized in Jerusalem’s Sha’are Zedek Medical Center and Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem's Ein Kerem.
Weissman, an IDF sergeant in the Nahal Brigade and resident of the Ma’aleh Michmash settlement, will be buried at 8 a.m. on Friday morning in Jerusalem’s Mt. Herzl cemetery.
A video of his storybook looking wedding almost two years ago has begun to circulate on social media since his death.
To the background of love music, he can be seen placing the ring on his wife Yael’s finger and breaking a wine glass, as is traditional in Jewish weddings and dancing.
